A long journey to Fiji lies ahead. If possible, we will make a stopover in one of Asia’s major cities—Tokyo, Hong Kong, or Singapore—depending on the airlines’ flight schedules. This brief break will allow us to rest between two long flights while also discovering another fascinating city.
After arrival, we will be greeted by the first exotic scents and the warm smiles of the locals. We’ll pick up our cars and head to the Sigatoka Sand Dunes—the largest sand-dune system in the South Pacific, dramatically stretching along the Pacific coastline. We will spend the evening near Sigatoka.[nationaltrust.org][tripadvisor]
We travel along the Pacific coast. Beach stops are interspersed with a pleasant trek through tropical forest to Biausevu Waterfall—considered the most beautiful on the main island. After returning to Nadi, we will explore the city: the botanical garden, the largest Hindu temple in the Pacific, the lively market, and an evening drink by the ocean.
A full-day trip to the Yasawa Islands. Swimming, snorkelling, and a visit to an island that literally disappears into the sea at low tide. The peaceful paradise of the Pacific.
A short flight to Nuku’alofa, Tonga’s exotic capital city. We will get acquainted with the only monarchy in the entire Pacific and prepare for the great adventure that awaits us.
A flight in a small aircraft over turquoise lagoons and islands is among the most beautiful experiences in the Pacific—the view from above is an attraction in itself. But the greatest adventure is still ahead of us. Tonga is one of the few places in the world where you can swim with whales in their natural habitat.
Three full-day boat trips are included in the price. Accompanied by an instructor, we will set out in search of enormous humpback whales, which come here for only two months of the year to give birth and mate. Imagine the moment: you are in the water, watching 100-ton giants gracefully moving beneath the surface just a few metres away. The most intense underwater safari imaginable.
During the free days, we will explore the island of Ha’apai—peaceful villages, white beaches, and places where you can decide for yourself which part of the island is the most beautiful.
Return to Nuku’alofa and a tour of the island: the royal tombs, the place where James Cook landed, a stone arch reminiscent of Stonehenge, and the famous “ocean geysers.”
A flight back to Fiji, followed by the journey home—with your head full of images of the Pacific and an experience unlike anything else.
Citizens of Slovakia and the Czech Republic may enter the countries visa-free for stays of up to 90 days.
Snorkeling with whales is an experience that almost anyone can enjoy. There is no need to worry—it is not a physically or technically demanding activity. No previous experience with similar excursions is required; this is not deep diving or a complicated sport. It is entirely sufficient if you can swim, feel comfortable on the open sea, and have at least basic snorkeling experience. The most important thing is to stay calm, relax in the water, and fully enjoy this unforgettable encounter with these enormous yet peaceful inhabitants of the ocean.
We first organized this trip four years ago, and since then we have created this unforgettable experience for five different groups of travellers. We have shared our experience not only in a book, but also through numerous articles and television features. With us, you can be confident that you are choosing a partner who is not only reliable, but also proven through years of experience and real results.
For flights to the Pacific, we focus not only on high-quality airlines—without extra baggage fees—and efficient connections, but whenever the flight schedule allows, we also include a short stopover in an Asian metropolis, such as Tokyo, Singapore, or Hong Kong. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy a one-day city tour, rest after a demanding flight, and recharge before continuing your journey. At the same time, it helps reduce the fatigue caused by long-haul travel.
If you would like to extend your stay not only in Fiji but also on another Pacific island, please let us know. We will be happy to prepare an itinerary and arrange everything according to your preferences.
The single-room supplement is €420 for the entire trip. However, during the stay on the Ha’apai Islands, where the whale-snorkelling experience takes place, we cannot guarantee single-room accommodation. This is due to the limited capacity of local family-run resorts, which typically have only 6 to 10 rooms.
Our mission is to organize unconventional expeditions to less-visited countries around the world, off the main tourist trails.
