Who will arrange my visa if I need one?
Visas depend on the specific country and your nationality. Some destinations don’t require them at all, while others need an electronic authorisation or a standard visa. The good news is that we take care of everything for you. We handle the entire process — from filling in the forms and preparing the necessary documents to booking an appointment at the embassy. You don’t have to deal with any of the bureaucracy; just provide us with your basic details and we’ll hand you your completed visa, ready for your trip.
What if I'm traveling alone but don't have a roommate? Do I have to pay the single room supplement?
That’s not a problem — most of our clients travel individually. If you’re traveling alone and don’t want to pay for a single room, we’ll try to pair you up with another person of the same gender who has the same preference. If we find a suitable roommate, you’ll share a room without paying the single room supplement. And of course, if you’d prefer a room to yourself, we’ll arrange it without any complications.
What about vaccinations? Where can I find the latest information on the requirements?
Health preparation depends on the country you’re travelling to. We recommend having the basic vaccinations and taking preventive measures appropriate to your destination — for example against yellow fever, hepatitis A and B, or other local risks. If needed, we can arrange expert consultations with doctors specialising in travel medicine, so you have all the information and recommendations tailored precisely to your trip. We personally rely on our friends and specialists, who you can find at www.inocem.sk
Is the destination safe? Is there anything I should worry about?
Our clients’ safety is our top priority. We monitor the current advisories of the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and above all local reports from the destination country. We don’t take risks and always provide objective information — if the situation in a particular region is risky, we’ll recommend a safe alternative or adjust the trip’s itinerary.
We have many years of experience — we’ve visited many of these countries several times, we regularly write travelogues about them and comment on them in leading newspapers and on television, so our recommendations are based on real, up-to-date experience.
So if you have any questions about this, please get in touch with us right away and we’ll give you the latest information.
How much luggage can I take? How should I pack?
The permitted luggage allowance depends on the specific airline. Once you’ve booked your trip, we’ll provide you with detailed information on what you can bring with you and what is prohibited. All of this is included in our pre-departure instructions, which every client receives in advance, so you’ll know exactly how to prepare and what to expect.
What happens if I cancel my trip or fall ill before departure?
We recommend taking out cancellation insurance, which covers you in the event of unexpected circumstances before your trip. If something does happen, we’ll give you full support in dealing with the paperwork and finding a suitable solution based on the specific terms of the trip. Our goal is for you not to have to stress, and to have a clear plan of action in any situation.
Do I need travel insurance, and will you arrange it for me?
We recommend travel insurance for every trip, as it protects you against unexpected situations. We work with trusted insurance providers and can arrange it for you from start to finish. That way you have the certainty of being covered without having to deal with complicated formalities yourself.
How does payment for the trip work?
Payment for the tour is simple and transparent. You pay a deposit when booking, and the remaining
balance 30 days before departure. Every step is officially documented — we issue a contract, an invoice and a payment confirmation, so you have complete peace of mind and a clear overview of the whole process.
When will I know for sure that the tour will go ahead?
A tour is guaranteed once enough participants have signed up, in line with the conditions for the particular destination. As soon as its departure is confirmed, we’ll let you know, so you can be sure of it and plan your trip without any worries.
Do I have to fly for the trip from Vienna or Budapest, or can I depart from another country?
There’s no need to depart from Austria, Slovakia or Hungary. You can also join the tour from abroad. If you live outside Slovakia or the Czech Republic, you can fly directly to the destination on your own and we’ll take care of everything else there — accommodation, transfers and the trip itinerary.
