As a land full of castles, manor houses, and above all, spa towns. Let\u2019s combine the most interesting sights and attractions into a 3-day journey.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Day 1:<\/strong> Start Your Tour at \u010cachtice Castle<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The castle was made famous by <strong>Elizabeth B\u00e1thory<\/strong>, who lived here at the turn of the 16. and the 17th century. She was known as the \u201cBlood Countess.\u201d Legend has it that she murdered as many as 600 young girls so she could bathe in their blood and remain forever young and beautiful.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.navratil.travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/shutterstock_1678237021-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"Tren&#x10D;&#xED;n Region &#x2013; Tips, Recommendations, and Itinerary\" class=\"wp-image-12967\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Access:<\/strong> By car up to the castle; on foot from \u010cachtice (bus stop) along the yellow trail in about 45 minutes; on foot from the village of Vi\u0161\u0148ov\u00e9 (train station) along the green trail via a steep ascent in about 45 minutes.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the afternoon, head to Beckov, which arguably has more legends and stories than any other castle in Slovakia.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.navratil.travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/shutterstock_1703168347-1024x767.jpg\" alt=\"Tren&#x10D;&#xED;n Region &#x2013; Tips, Recommendations, and Itinerary\" class=\"wp-image-12968\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Access:<\/strong> By car to the village of Beckov, then on foot past the houses for about 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the evening, transfer to Tren\u010d\u00edn.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Day 2:<\/strong> Not only Tren\u010d\u00edn Castle, but also the inscription on the rock (Note: This is no longer considered the northernmost inscription left by Roman troops.) In Tren\u010d\u00edn, plan to spend half a day and visit the following sights.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.navratil.travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/shutterstock_485362618-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"Tren&#x10D;&#xED;n Region &#x2013; Tips, Recommendations, and Itinerary\" class=\"wp-image-12969\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Between the castle and the town center lies the fortified complex of <strong>Mariana mountain<\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>It includes a church, beside which you can descend to the center via <strong>a covered wooden staircase<\/strong> built in 1568.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Piarist Monastery<\/strong> and <strong>church<\/strong> on Peace square<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Town Tower <\/strong>offers a nice view over the city.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Around midday, take a short transfer to Sl\u00e1vnica, where you\u2019ll find an <em>\u201copen-air museum\u201d<\/em> of aircraft. It features nine exhibits, including pieces from the Military History Institute. From there, make a short transfer to Nimnica, home to the well-known spa town by the V\u00e1h River.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Day 3:<\/strong> Bojnice Castle, one of the most visited and most beautiful castles not only in Slovakia, but perhaps in all of Central Europe.
